(KAIR)--An expired license tag leads to a drug arrest for an Atchison man.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson told MSC News 51-year-old Gregory Winfield was stopped by an officer around 10:00 Wednesday evening in the 200 block of North Fifth Street for the expired tag.
He was then arrested for a suspended license as well.
“During that arrest, Gregory Winfield was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia,” Wilson said.
He was booked into the Atchison County Jail where he remains.
