Snowy conditions contributed to an accident that sent an Auburn man to the hospital early Monday morning. The accident happened at 3:00 a.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 136 about three miles east of Rockport.
The Missouri State Patrol says 24-year-old Scott Horr of Auburn was driving a 1991 Chevy Suburban westbound on 136 when he lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. The Suburban went off the south side of the road and overturned onto its side.
Horr, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to the Fairfax Community Hospital with injuries described as moderate in nature.
