08/12/2014

(KTNC)--There’s less than one month until the Richardson County Free Fair. The 90th annual fair is scheduled September 11, 12, and 13, in Humboldt.
The fair begins with the coronation program on Wednesday, September 10, and the field of Queen candidates has been narrowed to the top ten.
They are: Casey McNealy, who leads with just over 19-million votes; Nicole Fiegener is second with just under 19-million votes; Haley Workman, third with about 10-million votes; Rebecca Blecha, fourth with 9-million; and Whitney Ramsey, fifth with 7-million votes. Also making the final ten are Miranda Huettner, Shelbie Wilhelm, Amanda Antholz, Clair Svoboda, and Te’a Faulks.
The buying public elects the queen by casting votes at Humboldt Chamber of Commerce businesses.
The queen will be crowned during the coronation program, at 7:00 p.m. on September 10. The king will also be crowned during the program. This year’s fair theme is, “There’s no Place Like Home.”
