The Mound City School Board last week approved the hiring of several new teachers for the 2012-13 school year. Superintendent Ken Eaton provided information on the new hires. ( play audio :50 seconds )
The Board also accepted the resignation of Kindergarten teacher Allison Noble.
Eaton said because of the mild winter, school will be dismissing earlier than originally planned this spring. ( play audio :15 seconds )
That eighth grade promotion had been scheduled for May 17th.
During the Superintendents report, Mr. Eaton updated the Board on transportation bids and the weight room project. ( play audio :22 seconds )

During the April 18th Mound City School Board meeting the board will reorganize for the next year. There will be no new board members elected this year.
