The ACCHS Invitational featured a multitude of Delaware Valley League. The top four spots as a team on both the girls and boys team final standings in the meet with Jefferson County North, Jeff West, Holton and Riverside finishing in those top four spots in a different orders on each side.
On the girls side of the events it was Jefferson County North taking home first place as a team with a total point score of 121.5 as a team. Riverside finished second with 111 total team points and Holton took home a third place team finish with 102.5 total team points. Jeff West tallied a fourth place finish as a team with a cumulative team score of 70 points. The rest of the team standings finished out like this: ACCHS (5th), McLouth (6th), Maur Hill Mount Academy (7th), Oskaloosa (8th), Horton (9th), Veritas Christian (10th) and Valley Falls (11th).
Jefferson County North Chargers took home the overall team crown and had the most top three finishes on the day too with 11, but the Holton Wildcats tied the Chargers with 11 top three finishes, also. Riverside, who took second overall on the day with team score totals, tallied the third most top three finishes with nine.
In the girl's individual events there was only one athlete who took home three top three finishes on the day that was Riverside Cyclone, Connor Schultz who won three events the 800 meter run, long jump and triple jump. Ten other athletes finished the day with two top three finishes each on the day day including four of which won both of those events.
Holton Wildcat, Brylee New took home the crown in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes, while Riverside's, Allie Simonin swept the 100 and 300 meter hurdle titles. Leah Murata of Horton took control of the distance running winning both the 1600 and 3200 meter run events, as Oskaloosa's, Jordan Miller put her stamp on the field events of shot put and discus as she won both of those events.
Other athletes that took home two top three finishes were: Connor Strader (Holton) 2nd place in both the 800 and 1600 meter run; Laramie Leakey (Jeff County North) 1st in the pole vault and 3rd in the 3200 meter run; Hannah Twenhafel (Jeff County North) 2nd place in both the 100 and 300 meter hurdles; Haley Reiff (ACCHS) 3rd place in both the shot put and discus; Carrie Finson (Jeff West) 2nd place in the 3200 meter run and 3rd in 1600 meter run.
For the boys it was a tighter finish in the team scores, as Riverside took home the team crown in the meet but only by less than four points, as they tallied 94 total points and Jeff West finished with 88.33 points good for second place. Holton finished right behind Jeff West with 88 total points, while Jefferson County North had 79.5 total points for fourth place. The rest of the team standings finished out like this: McLouth (5th), ACCHS (7th), Doniphan West (8th), Oskaloosa (9th), Valley Falls (10th), Veritas Christian (11th), Maur Hill Mount Academy (12th) and Troy (13th).
Riverside took home the team title for the meet but it was Jeff West who tallied the most top three finishes on the day with 10, while Riverside had nine. Right behind those two teams with the third most top three finishes was Jefferson County North who tallied eight.
In the boys individual events, just like the girls there was only one athlete who had three top three finishes on the day, that was Jeff West Tiger, Kevin Moluf. Moluf finished second in all three events which were the 200 meter dash and the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. Nine athletes notched two top three finishes apiece on the day with only two of those athletes winning both events.
Horton Charger, Jacob Lott got it done in the field events taking the crown home in the shot put and the discus, while Holton's, Jaxon Wright won both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. While the following other athletes finished with two top three finishes on the day, also: Mik Baranick (Jeff West) 1st in the 100 meter dash and 2nd in the long jump; Ryan Haefke (Holton) 1st in the 400 meter dash and 3rd in the triple jump; Marc Ellis (Doniphan West) 2nd place in the 400 and 800 meter runs; Micah LaCrone (Jeff West) 2nd in the 3200 meter run and 3rd in the 1600 meter run; Dylan Poirier (Riverside) 1st place in the pole vault and 3rd in the 300 meter hurdles; Dalton Sayers (Valley Falls) 2nd in the 100 meter dash and 3rd in the 200 meter dash; Cameron Karn (Holton) 2nd in the triple jump and 3rd in the 110 meter hurdles.
