McLouth Man Pleads No Contest to Agg Battery

(KAIR) -- A McLouth man has pled no contest to aggravated battery in connection to a domestic incident that sent a woman to the hospital.

Kenneth McAfee entered the plea Thursday in Jefferson County District Court.

The incident occurred in early March at the residence of a female acquaintance of McAfee’s in McLouth.

McLouth Police say McAfee caused multiple lacerations and bruises to the woman’s head and arm, causing hospitalization.

The woman was treated and released with multiple stitches.

Sentencing for McAfee is set for August 8th.

McAfee is out on 10 thousand dollars bond.
