Three local schools competed in the Northern Heights golf Invitational and two of the three finished in the top three team finishers of the day. The Jeff West Tigers compiled the best team score on the day with a 342, while the Santa Fe Trail Chargers took home a third place finish as a team with a combined score of 371. Osage City was sandwhiched in between those two teams for a second place finish with a team score of 353. The other area school competing in the meet was Royal Valley they finished with a team score of 397 good for a eighth place finish on the day out of 12 teams.
On their way to the team title the Tigers of Jeff West saw three individuals place in the top ten at the meet. Third place went to Debus, eighth to Flood and Brooks took home tenth with a 79, 85 and 87 scores, respectively. Santa Fe Trail had one top ten finisher who shot an 86 on the day to finish ninth, it was Reser.
