Work is scheduled to begin the week of April 30, on N-4 east and west of Humboldt, from mile marker 201.33 to 210.22, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Constructors, Inc. of Lincoln has the $3,194,155 contract to extend a box culvert, repair bridge, perform cold milling, 4-inch overlay, grading, install new guardrail, and seeding. Traffic on this 8.9-mile project will be controlled by one-lane work zones and flaggers where necessary and a traffic signal on the bridge repair site at MM 203.80. The project is expected to be completed in October.
The Department of Roads’ project manager is Bill Jasa of Tecumseh. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously through highway construction zones.
