The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced Atchison County MO 46 will be closing on Monday, May 14th at the Hickory Creek bridge, located approximately one and one-half mile east of Route N. The bridge will be closed for a bridge replacement project for six to eight weeks.
The bridge will be replaced under the Missouri Safe & Sound Bridge Program which will replace 15 bridges in Atchison County by the end of this year. Thirteen of these bridge projects have been completed.
