A 27-year-old Atchison man pled not guilty to firearms charges after his preliminary hearing Friday in Atchison County Court.
A jury trial for Sylvester Williams was set for July 10th
He faces the charges of felon in possession of a firearm, and defacing a firearm, both felonies.
Williams was arrested January 11th by Atchison Police after a search warrant of his residence found a gun that is believed to be his.
Williams is currently free on bond.
