Sabetha Legion Baseball Team Wins 3-2 Over Auburn
Sabetha rode the pitching of Tate Steinlage and Brenden Garrett to defeat Auburn 3-2 at Somerset Park. Steinlage got the win pitching 5 innings allowing a pair of hits and recording 8 strikeouts. Garrett pitched the final two inning for the save. Graham Droge had a pair of hits and Isaac Russell had a triple. Sabetha scored all three runs without the benefit of an RBI. Nathan Behrends was the hard luck losing pitcher. Behrends recorded 11 K's while only giving up four hits.
With the victory, Sabetha improves to 2-1.
