A pharmacy that’s coming to Atchison is putting the finishing touches on their building before their grand opening.
Kex Rx, based out of Hiawatha, now has construction complete to their interior.
According to owner Joe Koechner, they still have exterior painting, as well as insurance obligations left to go before opening the doors.
He says they have a target date to be open in roughly two weeks and signage should arrive next week.
Koechner says for employment, they will be starting out small.

Kex is aiming to fill the void left by the closing of Ball Brothers last fall as being the only independently-owned pharmacy in Atchison.
They plan to offer drive-thru and delivery services as well.
