An 19-year-old Atchison man convicted of stealing thousands of dollars worth of items during a series of burglaries has been sentenced to 29 months in prison.
Jonathan Lewis was sentenced Monday in Atchison County District Court on three counts of burglary and two counts of felony theft.
Lewis will also have one year of supervised post-release probation.
Lewis was charged with taking over one thousand dollars in rare coins during a burglary on March 8th on 10th Street in Atchison, more than 25 thousand dollars worth of items from a January 17th burglary on 258th Road, and of burglarizing a concession stand near Lancaster last October.
Lewis was ordered to pay over 13 thousand dollars in restitution from the incidents.
