An Atchison health advocacy committee is in their next stage of planning in an effort to improve county health rankings.
“Live Well, Live Atchison” has now tabulated the data from the forums held last fall to construct four action teams.
Atchison Hospital Social Work Department Manager and committee facilitator Aggie Asher describes the teams.

The teams hope to be finalized by July 27th and represent a cross-section of people.
The goal to develop a problem and state and goals is August 31st.
The teams hope to develop assumptions, activities, outputs and outcomes by December 14th with a final goal to develop an evaluation process by January 25th, 2013.
Meanwhile, Live Well, Live Atchison has submitted their work so far for national recognition.
