Four Johnson-Brock students participated in the National History Day competition June 10 to 15.  They earned the trip to D.C. based on their presentation at the State History Day competition at Nebraska Wesleyan University in April.
In action taken during the meeting, the Johnson-Brock Board approved an agreement for the district to continue sharing a Spanish teacher with the Sterling School District. The board approved the final reading of a revised attendance policy, and renewed the district’s membership in the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association.
Jim Gerking provided the board with an update on the football field turf project.  Koehler says workers will begin installing the artificial turf on Monday.  (play audio  :48)
