( KNZA )-- Beginning on Monday, ( September 10th ), a resurfacing project will begin on Oregon Street in Hiawatha.
Dustrol, Inc. from Towanda will be milling all of Oregon Street starting at the west city limits boundary heading east towards 1st Street.
No vehicles will be allowed to park along Oregon Street during the duration of the mill work. Any vehicles left in the construction zone will be towed at the owner’s expense.
The milling is expected to be completed by Wednesday ( September 12th ), weather permitting.
Hamm, Inc. from Perry is the general contractor hired to resurface Oregon Street this fall. They will be in town shortly after the milling to complete the project.
The City of Hiawatha will notify residents when the project is scheduled to have vehicles moved again.
