USD 338 to Install Security Cameras

(KAIR) -- The USD 338 school district will enhance security to their entrances of their school buildings.

The board Monday night moved forward with the discussion install of cameras at those entrances immediately, coordinated with the elementary and high schools locking their doors during the day.

Superintendent Loren Feldkamp says this comes after a successful pilot program.

Feldkamp says the board also heard from Kelli Chaney from the State Department of Education Child and Nutrition Department on the upcoming new federal mandates on school lunches.

The board also approved a bid to install speed bumps outside the high school gymnasium.
