Bartlett Victims’ Families to Host Vigil

(KAIR)--The families of those impacted by the Bartlett Grain explosion last year in Atchison will host a candlelight vigil remembrance Sunday for the lives that were lost.

An explosion on October 29, 2011 killed four Bartlett employees and two grain inspectors.

Bartlett employees who were killed were John Burke, Ryan Federinko, Curtis Field, and Chad Roberts as well as grain inspectors Travis Keil and Darrek Klahr .

The Topeka-Capital Journal reports that, Roberts sister, Bailey Parker, says the ceremony will take place at seven that evening on the Atchison Riverfront and will last 30 minutes.
