(KAIR) -- The USD 377 school district may present a bond issue to voters next year.
That was part of the preliminary discussion of a work session Tuesday night in Effingham.
However, there are a lot of steps that need to be done before that happens, including getting feedback from district patrons.
Ken DeSieghardt from Patron Insight met with the school board to discuss options for a telephone survey for the public.
Superintendent Steve Wiseman says the board then toured the areas identified as high-priority needs.

Wiseman says his next task is to establish a facilities planning team for a 20 year master plan.

The end goal of the board, depending on the factors, is to have a bond issue before voters by April.
