(KAIR) -- A pickup truck stolen from the Lancaster area remains missing, despite a sighting and pursuit involving the truck Tuesday.
Douglas County deputies spotted the vehicle and began pursing it into Leavenworth County prior to the chase being terminated.
Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie says the truck was reported missing Monday from a location west of Lancaster where a separate stolen vehicle was found instead..(Play Audio)
The missing truck is described as a 2001 dark blue Dodge Ram flat bed pickup with a fuel box and a loud diesel motor. It has an International Harvester fuel cover, as well as an IH front license plate cover. The license reads " 808DHH."
