Moran Calls for Approval of Keystone Pipeline

(KAIR) -- U.S. Senator Jerry Moran from Kansas this week called on new Secretary of State John Kerry, to quickly approve the Keystone XL Pipeline.
 
The Obama Administration recently delayed its decision with the U.S. Department of State on the legislation, now saying it will not come before March 2013.

Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman approved a new route through Nebraska last week.

The original Keystone pipeline already moves crude oil from Steele City, Nebraska, to the processing facility in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Moran says the pipeline would use the existing infrastructure to safely move crude through Kansas.
