(KAIR) -- iPads may soon arrive for junior and senior high students to use at Atchison County Community Schools.

He says he wants students in grades seven through 12 to have iPads in hand as soon as possible.

Wiseman says a special meeting is planned for February 25th to vote on the one to one initiative.

The board Monday night also approved implementing a more rigorous science curriculum for seventh through ninth grade.

Wiseman says in an effort to align with Regent’s standards, seventh and eighth grade students will take general science and lab courses, while ninth graders will take biology one.
