(KAIR) -- With the federal sequester deadline looming, a lengthy list of potential funding affects it could have are being laid out.
Fort Leavenworth joins those voices of concern, saying several hundred employees may have to be furloughed for an average of one day per week for up to 22 weeks beginning April 25th.
With an overall civilian employee population of nearly 26-hundred, Fort Leavenworth reports that most civilians will be be furloughed with few exceptions.
Reduced services, longer wait times and fewer available personnel to provide services are among the concerns being laid out.
The Office of the Secretary of Defense says the State of Kansas will lose nearly 44-thousand-dollars in payroll from the sequester.
