Benedictine Hosts Speaker on Catholics & the Holocaust

(KAIR) -- Benedictine College in Atchison will host Dr. Richard Crane, professor of history at Greensboro College and the curator of the Levy-Loewenstein Holocaust Collection Sunday evening.

He will be speaking in the McAllister Board Room on the fourth floor of Ferrell Academic Center.

His talk, "Passion of Israel: Jacques Maritain, Catholic Conscience, and the Holocaust," is set for seven.

The presentation will cover the Catholic response to the way the Nazis treated the Jews.

The speech is open to students, faculty, staff, and all members of the community.
