(KAIR) -- The annual Spring clean-up is returning to Atchison Saturday.
Citizens with metal, wood, appliances, air conditioners, batteries and bundled yard waste less than five feet in length are encouraged to call 913-367-2427 before Saturday to arrange a pick-up.
When it comes to tires and recyclables, it’s a different story.
Beautification Council Chair Rita Hartman says due to traffic flow issues, there’s been a change to the drop off location for those items from previous years.

Citizens are asked to take their recyclables to the Recycling Center at 2505 US 73 Highway where volunteers will be on hand to help unload.
Hartman says there’s still room for those wanting to volunteer for the event.

Citizens can sign up to volunteer until eight Saturday morning.
