(KAIR) -- An arrest may never be made in connection with the bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the Atchison County Courthouse earlier this month.
Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie says while the investigation continues, the changes of finding the person responsible grows dim..( play audio )
Operations at the courthouse were distrupted the morning of April 12th when the District Court Office received a phone call from a male caller.
He claimed that someone in Colorado had called him, stating two pipe bombs had been placed in the Courthouse.
Three hours after the building was evacuated, followed by a thorough search inside and out, the all clear was given when no explosives were discovered.
