(KLZA) The Pawnee County Commissioners discussed the Handibus agreement with Pawnee City when they met this week. Commissioner Dennis Schaardt will go to the May 13th City Council meeting to discuss the agreement with the Council.
In addition, Schaardt was appointed liaison person with Johnson County concerning Emergency Manager with Brad Stake as the alternate.
Sheriff Jayme Reed met with the Board concerning a replacement patrol car. She presented state bids for Commissioners to review.
Commissioners voted to give favorable comment to a request for a special liquor license for ABATE for June 7th & 8th.
An agreement with the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for inspections of Fracture Critical Bridges for 2013 was approved.
Jacob Schwartz met with Commissioners asking if something could be done to control dust on 626 Road. Highway Superintendent Chris Rauner said there was no money currently in the budget for controlling dust. Schwartz also asked for bridge banisters on 710 Trail.
Carla Sextro with the Pawnee City Post Office informed the Board that mail for Table Rock will come to the Pawnee City Post Office and be distributed to the Table Rock Post Office by the Pawnee Carrier . Sextro also visited with the Board about rocking 628 Boulevard and 711 Road.
