(KTNC) - The Falls City FFA Chapter recently celebrated this year’s accomplishments at the annual year-end banquet.
Five first-year members earned their “Greenhand” Degrees – Lauren Bierman, Megan Vollmer, Michael Hamilton, Abby Gilkerson, and Jami Coonce.
Chapter Degrees were presented to Lee Huettner, Jack Hartman, Cord Huettner, Derik Eickhoff, Jordan Stoller, Justin Ernst, and Lucas Kirkendall.
State Degrees, presented to four-year FFA members, were presented to Amie Wiltse and Elizabeth Eickhoff.
Five FFA members received proficiencies for their Supervised Agricultural Experience. Cord Huettner and Derik Eickhoff received beef production placement proficiencies; Elizabeth Eickhoff received a proficiency in beef production entrepreneurship, receiving a gold at district and silver at state, as well as a goat production proficiency silver at districts. Cody Schawang earned top honors, receiving gold at districts and winning first place at state in electricity. Amie Wiltse received a chapter proficiency in diversified livestock production.
FFA Alumni Scholarships were presented to Cord Huettner, Elizabeth Eickhoff, and Amie Wiltse.
The new FFA officer for the next school year are: Maygan Ramsey, Megan Vollmer, Carl Arnold, Cody Schawang, Derik Eickhoff, Emily Wilhide, and Jordan Stoller.
