(KLZA)-- During the annual Falls City Public Schools Pre-Service program Monday, Falls City School Superintendent Tim Heckenlively announced the Falls City Education Foundation Annual Outstanding Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year Awards and the Outstanding Employee of the Year Award,
CeCe Simon, was presented the Outstanding Elementary Teacher of the Year Award. Mrs. Simon is beginning her 28th year as an elementary teacher with the Falls City Public Schools. Mrs. Simon is a 5th grade teacher at South School
Alisha Sutton is the recipient of the Outstanding Secondary Teacher of the Year Award. Mrs. Sutton is beginning her 17th year with the Falls City Public Schools and is the Chorus Director for Falls City High School and Falls City Middle School.
Eva Stark is the recipient of the Outstanding Employee of the Year Award. Eva Stark is beginning her 34th year with Falls City Public Schools and has served as the District 56 Treasurer for her entire tenure.
The purpose of these awards are to recognize excellence in the field of education. The recipients of this award play key roles in creating a school environment that promotes student achievement, safety, and health.
