(KAIR) -- The USD 409 school board Monday night approved the guaranteed maximum price for the Atchison Middle School and High School bond renovation projects.
The board set the cap at eight-point-four million dollars and Superintendent Susan Myers says current estimates are set to come in right below that figure.

Myers says the projects are now slated are slated to resume at the end of May.

In other business, one month after the board rejected all the banking services bids that were three year contracts, they accepted a one year plan Monday night from the Bank of Atchison at point-zero-six above Treasury bill rate.
