Mound City School Nominated for Volunteer of the Year Award

 (KLZA) The Mound City School District has been nominated to receive the Missouri Health Care Associations Volunteer of the Year Award.  Superintendent Ken Eaton explains how the nomination came about.  ( play audio :25 seconds ) 

Board members also discussed an inquiry from the Fairfax School District about the possibility of co-oping sports in the future.  ( play audio :14 seconds ) 

During the Superintendents report Eaton provided information to Board members on some parking lot improvements made this summer at the Mound City School.  ( play audio :21 seconds ) 

The bid to provide milk to the Mound City School for the 2013-14 school year was again awarded to Anderson-Erickson of St. Joseph.  No bids were received for bread delivery in time for the meeting.  

Mound City Board members also approved a number of policy updates during the Wednesday night meeting.  ( play audio  :45 seconds )

Handbooks for the upcoming school year were also approved during the meeting.
