(KAIR)--The Atchison Police Department was involved in vehicle chase through the streets of the city Wednesday afternoon, ending with the suspect fleeing into Missouri.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, police attempted to stop a black Chevrolet pickup truck in the area of 17th and County Club around 3. The driver is believed to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. Wilson says that speeds in the chase did not get too high, the vehicle just would not stop.
Wilson also says that police believe that they know who the suspect is, and they have the vehicle identified.
