(KLZA)--The Nemaha County, Nebraska Fair will be held in Auburn July 14th – 17th.
This year there will be only one fair parade sponsored by the Nemaha County Ag Society. The parade will be Friday night at 6 p-m. This years parade theme is “New Beginnings.”
If it rains Friday night, the parade will be held Saturday night at 6 p-m.
The popular Log Hoggers will perform Thursday thru Saturday at 11 a-m; 2 p-m; 4 p-m and 7 p-m. Sculptures created during the fair will be auctioned off at 4 p-m on Sunday the 17th.
The Thomas D. Thomas Shows carnival will be set up with rides and games each day of the Fair. The Pioneer & Heritage Farm Awards sponsored by the AKSARBEN Foundation will be presented at 8 p-m on Friday July 15th.
The grandstand shows will be Friday and Saturday evening.
Friday night at 8 p-m the Peterson farm Bros from Assaria, Kansas will perform. A pair of local bands will perform on Saturday evening, the Snowcrabss and Drunk Monkey will perform from 9 p-m until midnight.
Sunday the McIninch Judging Trophy and 4-H Herdsmanship Awards will be presented at 1 p-m. The Livestock premium sale will be held starting at 1:30 p-m and the Log Hoggers Wood Sculpture auction will be held at 4 p-m.
