Peru State opened the baseball season over the weekend by dropping two games to the ninth-ranked team in the NAIA pre-season poll.
The Bobcats fell to Oklahoma Baptist University by scores of 3-0 and 12-11.
The Bobcats head back to Oklahoma this coming weekend, for doubleheaders Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The ‘Cats open the home portion of their schedule on Monday, February 20, against Dakota State University.
