Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin the week of April 2nd, on U-S Highway 75, north of Auburn, to Nebraska Highway 67, from mile marker 26.94 to mile marker 32.72, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Omni Engineering, Inc. of Omaha has the $1,089,388 contract for concrete pavement repair and shoulder work. One-lane traffic on this 5.4-mile project will be controlled by pilot cars and flaggers where necessary. Completion of the project is anticipated in July 2012.
The Department of Roads’ Project Manager is Bill Cary of Tecumseh. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously through construction zones.
