Mound City Aldermen approved pay raises for city employees during a special meeting last week.
Aldermen unanimously approved a motion to give three-percent pay raises to full-time employees Randy Crowley, Kelly Graves, Vince Beyer, John Panning, Craig Buckles, Kelly Miller, and Patsy Smith. The increases are based on current pay rates and are effective July 1st.
The council also discussed the street overlay project during last week’s meeting. Specifically, the council discussed adding Waterworks Road north of the Community Building to the resurfacing project. The roadway easement provides access to the water tower, school track, community building, and golf sheds. The cost of the two-inch overlay of Waterworks Road is estimated at $5,100.
