Maur Hill Mount Academy is hosting several youth from Missouri in an effort to have them learn more about their faith.
The Kansas City and Saint Joseph Archdioceses are hosting their second annual EDGE camp, taking place of the former Camp Saint Maur.
Volunteer Diane Pickert says they were given a place to go after their old camp location near Saint Louis was destroyed by a tornado.

Eighty-four campers are attending this year from the KC and Saint Joe metros, as well as the Lake of the Ozarks, along with 55 chaperones and various staff.
The theme for this year is “Radiant Joy.”
Pickert says they are basing the lessons off of Pope Benedict XVI’s declaration of the “Year of the Faith,” running from October 11th through the end of November.
