(KAIR) -- An Atchison woman will head to prison for running from officers when they tried to arrest her on a warrant.
Sheena Kley was sentenced to nine months in prison for felony interference with a law enforcement officer Friday in Atchison County District Court.
Kley was arrested by Atchison Police on June 27th on Locust Drive after officers were attempting to locate her on a warrant from Buchanan County, Missouri.
After officers located her, Kley fled on foot from the residence she was at and was later apprehended after a short chase.
Upon her release from prison, she was ordered to serve 18 months of probation from a previous conviction in a drug case.
Kley was among five people arrested after Atchison Police raided a home in the 600 block of Parallel on May 10th.
One of those individuals, Craig Lawless, pled no contest Friday to an amended charge of attempt to possess methamphetamine.
Prosecutors say he was attempting to purchase methamphetamine at the residence.
Lawless could face four to 36 months in prison on the charge.
His sentencing is set for August 27th.
