( KNZA )---The Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas will host the 12th Annual Native Nations Law Symposium in the entertainment center of its Golden Eagle Casino Friday.
Jodi Gillette, Senior Policy Advisor for Native American Affairs for President Obama will be the keynote speaker. Gillette is an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North Dakota and South Dakota.
Kickapoo Tribal Chairman Steve Cadue expressed appreciation for a high level Native American policy advisor in the Obama Administration coming to Kansas to present remarks at the legal conference.
