(KAIR) -- A 20-year-old Windsor, Missouri man pleads guilty to the attempted robbery of an elderly man.
Christopher “Tony” Smith accepted the plea deal Friday in Atchison County District Court.
Smith also pled guilty to two counts of vehicular burglary.
In exchange, charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and misdemeanor theft charges were dismissed.
Smith and two other individuals were arrested in late August by Atchison Police after attempting to rob an 82-year-old Atchison man.

The other individuals allegedly involved in the incidents, 20-year-old Matthew Newgent and 17-year-old Dalton Dyer, who has been adjudicated as an adult, are still going through the judicial process.
Newgent and Smith remain in Atchison County Jail on 25 thousand dollars bond.
Dyer also remains in Atchison County Jail on 20 thousand dollars bond.
