(KAIR) -- An 18-year-old Atchison man will head to prison on two counts of vehicular burglary.
Dalton Dyer was sentenced to 10 months Monday in Atchison County District Court.
He was arrested August 27th in connection to a string of vehicular burglaries that occurred earlier that morning with two others.
Those two others, 20-year-old Matthew Newgent and Christopher “Tony” Smith were also scheduled to be sentenced Monday.
Newgent had prison sentences on those burglaries and an attempted robbery count suspended to 24 months of probation, while Smith failed to appear and had a warrant for his arrest issued.
In the attempted robbery case, the duo was convicted of trying to rob an 82-year-old Atchison man not long after committing the string of car burglaries.
