(KAIR) -- The date has been set for the official opening of the new Amelia Earhart Bridge at Atchison.
The joint ribbon cutting ceremony between the Kansas and Missouri Departments of Transportation will take place on the deck of the bridge at 11 the morning of December 4th.
Event parking will be located on Main Street between Third and Sixth Streets.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Heritage Conference Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
