(KTNC) - There are more than books to check out at the Falls City Public Library. Library patrons can also check out some new electronic devices that were recently donated to the library.
Library Director Hope Schawang says they received a donation of ten Kindle Fires. (play audio :33)
Deb Mullen donated the Kindles in memory of her mother, Betty Mullen, who lived in Falls City and was a champion of education. Schawang says the Kindles have been well used since they arrived earlier this fall. (play audio :29)
Adults and children can check out the Kindles for four weeks at a time. Call the Library in advance to ensure one is available to check out. If one is not available, you’ll be placed on a waiting list and Library staff will notify you when one is available.
