(KAIR) -- That’s the sound a majority of AT&T customers throughout the region are were hearing Thursday morning when attempting to make a phone call.
According to AT&T representatives the outage was reported in Atchison around 10 this morning and nine in other parts of the state.
Crews were able restore signal just before noon.
AT&T says anyone still having trouble with signal issues are asked to power their phones off and turn them back on.
The network outage affected customers that have phone service below LTE capabilities, mainly 3G.
So far, a cause to the outage hasn’t been determined.
Other media outlets in Kansas City, Wichita and Saint Joseph, as well as citizens in Arkansas have reported the same problem.
