Jefferson Co Commissioners hear Bond Refinancing Proposals

(KAIR) -- Jefferson County Commissioners Monday heard two proposals to re-finance the county’s bond issue from 2005.

The proposals were presented by representatives of George K. Baum Company and Oppenheimer and Company.

They estimated the possible savings over the life of the bond at about $190,000, reducing the interest rate to 2.09 percent. 

,No decisions were made following the presentations.
