JCN Passes Bond Resolution
02/12/2013

(KAIR) -- Jefferson County North Schools will present a bond issue to voters April 2nd.

Superintendent Denise Jennings says the resolution, paving the way to allow the public to vote for the two-point-five million dollar bond issue, was passed unanimously Monday night by the USD 339 school board.

The proposed payback would be 15 years and would cover renovations in the high school and the school’s track and field area.

Jennings says over the next two months, the bond committee will hold educational meetings throughout the district, describing details to the one thousand 406 eligible voters.
