(KAIR) -- A 21-year-old Atchison man has been found incompetent to stand trial on burglary charges.
Ryan Brownfield was recently transported to Larned State Hospital for treatment.
He’s alleged to have broken into and damaged the Full Moon Saloon and Bunge Milling in rural Atchison in February 2012.
Brownfield also faces charges for allegedly breaking into a rural Atchison residence last September while the family was home.
In January, when asked for a plea, Brownfield stood mute in the courtroom and the court entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
A February 5th trial was cancelled.
A June 10th date has been set to check Brownfield’s competency status.
