USD 377 Special Meeting to get iPads in Schools
03/27/2013

(KAIR) -- An effort to get iPads into student’s hands as soon as possible is the focus of a special Meeting of the USD 377 school board this evening.

In order to do so, the board must approve the iPad policy handbook.

Superintendent Steve Wiseman says the reason the meeting agenda was produced on short notice was because the goal is to present the iPads to students on Thursday.

This comes following the board's recent approval to purchase iPads for seventh through 12th grade students.

The board will meet at the administrative office in Effingham at seven.
