(KAIR) -- A group of Benedictine College students help Atchison Police detain an alleged car burglar.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says the incident occurred early Sunday morning.

Wilson says 20-year-old Matthew Schultz, of Atchison, was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges of vehicular burglary and misdemeanor theft.
Wilson says after a search of Schultz, a key was discovered allegedly belonging to the truck he’s believed to have broken into.
Wilson says it’s unclear if Schultz is connected to a string of vehicular burglaries that occurred a few weeks ago, which he says remain under investigation.
