(KAIR) -- An Atchison man will head to prison for more than 7 years on a child sex charge.
Kevin Scott was sentenced to 88 months in prison Friday in Atchison County District Court for one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Scott was arrested in mid-December by Atchison Police for committing sexual acts to a six-year-old girl on December 1st, 2012.
After his release, Scott was also ordered to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
